The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has the mission of effectively mobilizing and coordinating humanitarian action in emergency situations based on humanitarian principles with national and international actors to: a) save lives and alleviate suffering human; b) advocate for the rights of vulnerable people, alerting and informing based on evidence; c) promote preparedness and response plans and; d) manage funds and resources with decision makers.
